Parkinson's Disease
Slowly Fading
Drifting in and out
Tremors come and go
Like the transition between high tide and low tide
Slow and consistent
The simple things become difficult
Eating, sleeping, everything
Slows down nearing absolute zero,
Every day your body fades,
Quitting crosses your mind
But the only option is progress
Drowsy and tired
Countless medicines and drugs
Appointments and therapies
Keep you alive
