Racetrack
One of the last truly American places
On Raceday, everyone is family
BBQing food, cold drinks, and music playing,
Where we can be together
where no one is offended by the National Anthem
The smell of burnt rubber, E85, and Race Gas
To me, that's the smell of Heaven,
This song lives on through our sport, and always will
Where race, religion, and views are obsolete
So after all the tuning, wrenching, and testing,
You bring out your car, and see all of your hard work.
When you're here, you have no worries
by the end of the weekend,
when you go back to work,
you're already ready to go back.
