The Attacks
They tell you to calm down
before it gets worse
but you already know
that no matter what
you can’t stop
what’s coming
It feels like you're trapped
inside yourself and suffocating
it overcomes you
just when you thought it
couldn’t get worse,
it does.
You can’t breath
the panic consumes you
everything is a nightmare
the only way to end it is to
which will only help for now
You wake up
it starts right where you left off.
Slowly eating away at you till
the next time it hits full force again
I guess that’s why they’re called attacks
