Man's Best Friend

Scratches on the floor,
Dollars --sometimes more;
raining out of our pockets.
Sneaking on the
couch; pretending we can’t see them.
130 pounds; resting on your lap.
Pure bliss painted on our faces,
Healing our wounds;
inside and out.
Driving us insane,
but keeping us sane.
Living for just one purpose;
till that purpose is complete.
