How do we measure death
It's crazy how someone can be gone in an instant.
How they can go from enthusiastic to miserable in a matter of days, weeks.
How they can go from I love you Shawna.
To what's your name again?
This happens too often.
And it breaks me, it breaks my heart to hear that quiver and their voice, almost as if they know they're going to be gone tomorrow.
Because we don't always get that last conversation.
We don't always get that last hug.
We don't always get tomorrow.
So how do you measure death?
Days?
Weeks?
Months?
How about memories.
Some people say that they have more courage to go than to stay.
And as they lay, they think of every breathtaking moment you've shared but they can be gone in the blink of an eye.
Some people say that on their greatest day it seems like they could fly and now they can.
