I follow the line through its path
It seems to get ever more long.
I breathe and try to stay strong,
I hum a nice little song.
But I can’t get past all the wrong
That is found in unwarranted wrath.

 

I hold all my walls in place.
They rattle and shake
They crumble and break
They give more than take
I can’t keep them staked
But I keep a smile on my face.
