In the sky, up very high
looks down, needs to eat
is not prey, has no predator
can hunt well, talons are sharp
ghost in the wind, swoops down
goes low, opens its claws
prepares to kill, catches some prey
eats a rodent, it’s still hungry
goes back up, the day is not over
