Mr. Hurricane
It has taken over.
every millimeter of every letter,
centimeter of every word,
an inch of ever sentence,
that all adds up to a mile of sobriety.
Your words are thoughts,
that have flowed out with no consent.
The harshest of words,
used to define a girl
that you barely know.
You know the surface of every beach,
but not the depths of the sand.
How much water it soaks up,
how many castle walls built by hand.
You have been a constant hurricane,
this time,
you took it all away.
Every happy memory,
every lovable moment that was shared,
between two lovers.
The beach was a place of love,
but is now under the covers
because of your decision to push and shove.
Now please, Mr. Hurricane,
hit someone else's land,
because this island has done all it can.

My bestfriend went out with this guy, who became very close friends with me. We had our occassional fights and then he would decide if the argument wasn't a big deal or such. He didn't care for our opinion at all. One day the arguements were increasing so I told him me and my friend (his girlfriend) that we were busy and couldn't hang out. He got so mad and it was weird. He was constantly bagging on us and saying I was a horrible friend and his girlfriend, my best friend, was a lousy girlfriend. Finally I was just done with it, I let him walk away. The hurricane that lasted three months, was finally running towards someone new, and now we're free from the crazy. My best friend and I.
