What Matters
To the one who thinks they are a waste,
To the one who only lives day by day,
and to the one who is about to break
Because they think they are only hated
Your life may not be perfect, but sure is worth every second
Because what matters is you
This isn’t coming from a bible, or councilor; this is truth
Whether u believe in many, one, or none
There is something or someone Bigger than you
Doing more than you will probably ever
Thinking to yourself “my life is bad”
Wishing you could hold things you've never touched
You don’t see the work and steps it takes to get there
It takes a lot yet some see the result as easy
But when it’s not they blame it on themselves
Some think things should be handed to them,
Other’s say life should be fair
Wanting everyone equal, but equal isn’t always right
And you’re getting depressed because you think you don’t deserve it
I said before, there’s something greater and there always will be
It lingers guiding, helping, or changing your mind, good and bad
Whether it a spirit, conscience, person, or a god
However you are you yet you are only a piece
A piece of a grand puzzle
With billions of more pieces inside
All pieces affecting something
Like your fears, emotions, and reaction
Every piece with a job like the sun Shining physical light
You shine bright in someone else’s life
But for you to shine in them something has to shine in you
You got to believe in something for it to be truth
Everything has a connection
There isn’t really independence; “Freedom” really isn’t free
For example you rely on a governments or gods
Others judge some practices till they die, damn hypocrites
I know they judge you and it may hurt
But others see your talent and they know what its worth
To have someone like you is a treasure, only shown to few
It’s good to be selective, don’t let everyone in
But none of what you do is 100% you
You can do it, through thick and then you’ll always have the one
The one you trust, the one that don’t judge
And just like you rely on them, Someone relies on what you do
So next time you think “I don’t matter “or “no one needs me”
Think again, just maybe, maybe you make a difference
Yeah you
