My dreams are wide

but I have the time
They say I’m not much
but my game play is tough
I have an eye for the ball
even though I’m small
Football is my sport
you don’t need a court
I lay the wood
on third and one
Linebackers my spot
so all you see and hear is a pop
My dream is to go big
they say it is all in my head
I hit stick the runner
they call me the Hummer
I feel the pain
but it’s all part of the game
My dream is to play in college
but that may be a challenge
I love to compete
but I hate to be beat
I bleed in this fight
