Storms of Rock and Ice
Here we lay, you and I, hidden away from all likes of day.
Curls of hair conceal your vibrant visage and eyes squeezed shut,
One palm to comfort cheek, the other safely locked within mine,
It is of serenity our love, you and I, our history playing with our future.
Moments of this nature, moments of infinity, there lies our love.
I am but a pane of glass in your wake, breakable and transparent.
When we lie, you and I, intertwine, the shoreline.
Home lies here, behind you and our skyline, behind paintings and old music.
You move, no you dance, you dance the dance that captures my heart,
Your eyes conceal a burning magic, you look at me, we look to be.
Here I fall, beneath your gaze, fixed on your heart, my perfect counterpart.
And here we lay, you and I, hidden away from all likes of day.
