In my mind
I wish you would get me flowers
And I wonder what my life would be like with you.
I look across the room, gazing person to person until I see your eyes, and their light.
I analyze every word you say to me, and my heart flutters when we touch.
But I pull myself in, like a rag doll attached to a stick.
Thinking that, no you can't possibly like me.
I mean, how can you like me if I don't like me?
Thinking that one day you loving me is just a dream.
But yet I lay in bed at night, blankets pulled up to my chin,
And I imagine my white dress on our wedding day.
And our three kids with our big, yellow house on the countryside.
I imagine growing old with you, forever in love with you,
