The Darkness Beneath You
What are you?
Are you simply alone
No face
No identity
Just a blob of darkness
But you live in the light
Where do you go?
No one notices you
Lingering behind me
Looking off into the distance
Why are following me?
You trail behind me all day
Then you disappear at night
Never to be found again
Until the next sunset
I see you
On the floor
Benath my feet
