3 Weeks of August
In the 3 weeks in August,
I ride my horse and spend time with friends.
I swim in the lake, which is cold and smooth.
I feel refreshed and happy when I come out.
We play games and sing songs, and work, it's true.
For when you're at horse camp, you learn.
To care and love your horse.
I ride for only an hour, but it's worth what we pay.
Because when I leave in the end, I know something.
I know how to care for a horse,
and I have a satisfying feeling,
that I will see that gorgeous black stallion again.

I wrote this piece because I love my horse camp family, and my horse, Morgan.
