They walk through the halls
thinking of what could have
been if only …
.. if only they had support
.. if only they had felt more love
   ..if only people could know
.. if only people could understand

They lay in bed wishing..
… wishing that more people liked them
… wishing that they were treated better
… wishing that they had more
more support
more love
more feelings

They stand in lines knowing
that no one understands
yet still hoping that ….
   ...that it will be silent
...that it could all go away
   ...that they didn’t remember
   …that they didn’t feel

They sit watching
movies and thinking..
...thinking that one day that could be them
...thinking that they lived like that
...Thinking how much they hate those who will never know

They smile knowing
that, that is what is
wanted only wanting..
   … wanting cry
   ...wanting to scream
   ...wanting to be loved
...wanting what they feel they don’t deserve
   ...wanting life to end ..

They sit crying
in the bathroom
cutting their wrist
cutting because…
   ...because people don’t care
...because they want it to end
   ...because they see bullying
   ...because they have been bullied
...because they were hit as a kid
... because they feel they only have control over the pain

They sit at school
laughing at what is
said about them
and slowly they begin..
...begin believing what is said is true
   ...begin thinking these things too
   ...begin laughing when they hurt
   ...begin wanting to help others
   ...begin wanting it to end
They see the hurt
trying..
   ...trying to help
   ...trying to fix it
   ...trying to hide
   ...trying to end it
Together they sit
talking and realizing…
   ...realizing they aren’t alone
   ...realizing it wasn’t there fault
...realizing that it wasn’t just them

...realizing… realising that they were never alone.
They smile, really
smile knowing..
  ...knowing others feel the same
...knowing they have somewhere to turn to
...knowing that they do have family, family in friends
...and knowing someone always has their back

My insperation came to me from a group of friends when we got talking about our child hood and current home life and relised that we weren't the only ones that felt this way, the only one treated these ways. Thanks to them I was able to write what i hope to be a very meaningful poem that may be able to help someone.

P.s Love you guys thank you so much.
