Where I'm From
Where I'm from
I am from a softball bat
From dirty pants and a clean dress
I am from a complementary home on the main line
And 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms
I am from an ornage cat
Whose now dead but loving
I am from pink dresses and a cat named tiggy
From Rhodes and Keating
I am from the blazing sun and a cracking fire
And from playing a sport every season
From always playing in the mud
I am from Jesus Mary and joseph
I am from Edna Norman and Rachel Thompson
From fudge and Buckeyes
From hand made quilts
And from polished silver
And a stuffed animal named nail polish
I am from those moments playing in the mud.
