War Cry
All is quiet, you hear a pin drop
All is peaceful, there is whispering among the masses
I look up, a god stands before me
Some say he controls time,
other say he controls emotion
He can cause havoc with a flick of his wrist
He can compose beauty that inspires fear
This god has a heavy hand, and in it,a tool
This tool is small, frail, deadly perhaps
He is all powerful, he commands a great force
We are a battalion of men and women
We are loud, we fight massive battles against other armies and gods.
The table of elder gods judge and decide the victor
This is a battle of wits and precision;
dedication and detail
We have a war cry that many do not understand
it confuses many for it is silence.
During this silence we are preparing for the battle
we think,we wait, we watch
for our god to lift his mighty tool,
it comes down and the silence is broken.
The battle has begun.
