my mind is an ocean
it is vast and unknown
some parts are more beautiful than others
some parts are bright blue and clear waters
those are the parts everyone wants to go
they all want to see the sparkling water with the beautiful fish floating around, like words of wisdom for when friends are in trouble
but the farther you go
the deeper you explore
the darker it gets
those are the places no one wants to even step foot
everyone knows those parts are there, but neglects to look at it
probably because those are where the bad things come
where the scary fish live that will knock you out with one, venomous bite
but i have hope
hope that one day someone will want to explore all of my ocean
they’ll find it interesting and want to know more
they will overlook the bright blue waters and want to set sail for the uncharted
