I wish I was a hot air balloon

Floating up so high

I won't come down anytime soon

Not even going to try

The heat from flame will hold me up

On the winds I will soar

Pour some rain into a cup

Chill me to the core

People try to put out my flame,

My essence of life

The think it only a game

Until I faulter from strife

I'll fall to the ground

Falling so fast

Gravity opresses my every sound

You only see the shadow which I cast

But there will be a time again

Maybe sometime soon

I'll draw out my designs with pen

For the day I become a hot air balloon
