I am from
I’m from a family where I was the youngest
Where everything I did was just small attempts to catch up to my older sister.
I’m from a magical place with trees and vines, with lizards and butterflies, and a big pool that I called Grandma’s backyard.
I’m from a time where I learned how to swim at a very young age and my grandpa would compare me to a fish.
I’m from a time where I loved all animals and insects, and scared my grandma half to death every time I would play with snakes.
I’m from a time where school had become priority and everything else was pushed away.
I’m from a time where all I did was study and feel so much presser from my parents
I’m from a time where I just stopped caring.
