Where I’m From
I’m from a caring family of 5.
Middle child and only girl.
I’m from an unknown city to the nation but known to the locals.
I’m from a family with many goals but goals that still haven’t been met by everyone.
I’m from parents of the same country but of completely different people.
Where I don’t fit in into any city.
I’m from a country with so many opportunities that are taken for granted by many.
I have goals, goals for a successful future.
I’m from a warm heart, who would give up a lot to help out everyone else in need.
I’m from a family who has been through every floor at the Children’s Hospital.
I’m a strong person but a person with many emotions that store in my mind and heart.
I’m from a family who has been through tough times which almost took away my siblings.
Illnesses.
Illnesses and syndromes without cures.
I’m from a family who has taught me to become the strong independent teenager who I now am.
I’m from a family where everyone my age thinks about parties while I think about the career I want in the future that will benefit others.
I’m from a family with thousands of traditions.
A family who celebrates every occasion.
I’m from a city that has many different cultures.
I’m from a city where teens aren’t viewed as adults but are treated like some.
I’m from a town where expectations are extremely high.
Where students work their butts off in academics, sports and clubs.
Where students no longer learn but memorize shortcuts.
Where teens sleep at the most six hours each night.
I’m from a generation that is extremely different from my respected elders.
