Where im from
I’m from humble beginnings.
I’m the second born child, the only son.
From a family who left their home and headed north.
From parents who abandoned everything they knew and loved, so that they could better take care of what they now love.
From parents who care about love and respect above all else.
From a childhood of learning what my parents love and learning to love it as well
From place mountainous and snowy, white as far as the eye can see, a place where I grew up and still remember.
A place where my grandparents used to live.
I’m from a family who stays together, no matter how much we lose.
From 16 years of living life day to day, taking challenges step by step.
From a place where my parents used to be home
From parents who work two jobs, 8am to 8pm each just to send their daughter to college.
And knowing she’s almost there makes my parents happy, so it makes me happy.
From a place where pets aren’t just pets, but one of our own.
Where the sound of our friends barking echoes through the halls, and we just learn to accept it.
I’m from a father who loves music.
His passion passed down to his son.
I’m from all these places and not old enough to realize someday I’ll miss it.
