The Old Folk
The old couple sat together.
The man spoke to the woman of wither,
“We all live,
We all sleep,
And he will come for us.
We should not make fuss,
For we have lived,
And now our bodies rust.”
And the ancient lovers laid together,
Flying away above the Earth’s crust
