You're what I'm trying to quit
I live for the moments when,
I love you
is a phrase that crosses your lips.
I long for the day when,
Curious fingers
finally touch the mystery beyond my hips.
I know it's nothing more than a game.
to you a game where rule change
and play my emotions.
I mean a game where
out hearts
pretend ot be in sink,
then quit. Leaving mine on the brink.
And while I'm over here getting over being sore..
you decide nots a good time
to show up at my door.
I let you in
to give you a piece on my mind,
but then you say "I love you"
and I'm reeled in one more time.
when I say one more time
I mean,
Every. Damn. Time.
not you're the thing I'm trying to drop,
but every
I love you
makes my heart beat stop.
