Three Wishes

If I could have a wish,
I would wish for superpowers
The kind where you can help people
in the day and at night...
If I could have another wish
I would wish for acceptance,
because I’m just like any other kid
I don’t understand how this happened, but it did...
I wish...
That I could be an ordinary kid
The kind that gets to sleep, eat
Not have to wake up at 5:30,
everyday!
Just to save people in every way...
I wish this was all a dream
And I was back in my bed waiting for the sun to rise...
