Locked in
Release me
From the unwelcome anger
Bubbling from within my soul
I am halted by the gates of humanity:
Insincere thank yous, incessant chattering, indifferent actions

Alone in my room, stuck in my darkest thoughts
Nobody around to hear
Nobody around to see
Nobody around to feel
Nothing.
The gate unlocked with a scream…

The light seeps in, a surreal world,
A world where I could live in peace
Or where I could ruin everything

No longer bound by the unrelenting chains of society,
I can erupt from the confined walls enclosing me
Inscribe my mark and free the restless rage in others
Trapped inside the same
Dark, soundless, empty prison I was destined to be in

I alone, will tear down the gates of fury
That kept me tied to inevitable suffering
Now I will become the inescapable force
And destroy the controlling locks
That people never realized were there…
