Glass Girl
Shattered glass girl
Living in a broken world.
Falling apart
from finish till start.
Held together
By the promise of forever.
Looking out a window made
Of hopes and dreams from the brave.
Made from shattered, empty things.
Trying to fly on broken wings.
Falling into despair and loss.
Never again will paths cross.
Keeping love alive at heart,
Whispered words keep them apart.
Shattered, broken, empty things.
To the girl's heart they sing.
Never tomorrow or today,
Maybe happened yesterday.
Glass shards cover the floor,
Couldn't take it anymore.
Gone is the love that once was,
Holding together just because.
Now it's gone and blown away,
The love that they held yesterday.
Trying to fly on broken wings.
Shattered broken empty things.

This was my rush of emotions from work, school, and just dealing with trying to be a teenager.
