Staying In

I wake up tired, but emotionally drained
They ask me to go out and I say
"No thanks, I’m okay"
It’s not that I hate people
I do love my friends
But I feel at my worst
I wish it would all just end
All this time alone
Leaves you feeling sick
We pretend it's something
That alcohol can fix
Lately my friends ask
Where I have been
And like always I reply,
"I’m just staying in"
