When I was ten years old,
I loved watching paper planes
For a brief second they would look like they
Were floating, gliding, drifting on air
I wondered how something so simple could be
So beautiful,
How something could make me so tingly with merriment,
A strange feeling I get in these places,
The same feeling I tend to get when I am with you

The paper plane descends and crumbles
Along with my brain,
And I can’t seem to get you out of my mind
Your smile,
Your voice,
Your laugh,
Your eyes

Your eyes, your eyes, your eyes
They are wonderful,
Can I look into them,
Fall in them,
Spiral like a paper airplane,
An endless tumbling?
Will you let me get lost in them,
Never to be found?
Wonderful,
Wonderful,
Wonderful,
Can I hold you,
Be with you?
Wonderful, oh darling,
You’re wonderful!
Even more wonderful than paper airplanes
