Winter
The white, cold fluff covers the entire town.
It covers the cars, the ground, and the trees.
No leaves are left in sight.
Nothing but white fills my eyes.
It’s a time for ice-skating, skiing, and sledding,
sliding and swerving on the icy roads,
and sipping hot chocolate by the stone fireplace.
However, nothing lasts forever.
The beautiful, icy snowflakes eventually
melt away with the cold.
Snow storms turn into rain showers as flowers
blossom from the trees.
Until next December, we say goodbye
to the white beauty of winter.
