I am from a broken house hold

   Bouncing from home to home
Feeling forever alone.

  I am from a dark place
   With tragic memories
and
an aching heart.

I am from inner strength
    a lost family
broken kids,
and divorced parents.

I am from parents arguing every night
crying myself to sleep
and worrying about everyone else but,
myself..

I am from a fallen family
    all the cops know our family
we all have our own reasons
    all we want is to be accepted.

I am from self harm
  negative thoughts
thinking my life was always a lie
I always used to wanna die but
now,
I’ll try to be forever alive.

I am from overdoses
     abused
and being used.

I am from unhealthy experiences
September
and 56 Zoloft pills
A trip to the ER, drinking charcoal
and the Green Bay HealthCare Center
for 3 days.

I am from trouble-making 
testing the waters,
helping others,
and trying to get back on track.

I am from being unhappy to changing my ways
a better life, finding real friends,
all the lies have slowly started to die.

I am from a family
   who has slowly started to change their act.
True. Fact.

I am from a caring mom who loves me more
than anything,
seeing my parents smile and be joyful,
lights up my world.

I am from a dad who works hard,
      relapses
but I know he loves me no matter what.

I am from a 17 year old brother who enjoys playing
online GTA,
he never gives up on me,
but he loves me for me.

I am from a dysfunctional family
flaws
and accepting each other for who we truly are,
This is me.
