Irony
It’s so easy to fall into a mindset of avoiding everything
The safest place to go is inside your own head
And the easy route that works is to act
Act like it doesn’t exist
Act like your fears don’t exist
Act like the world doesn’t exist
Act like you don’t exist
Sometimes you can never stop acting
Those are the times when you hope your legs can carry you
You must be as fast as you are determined
Or you’ll fall out of your own mind
Become part of your own imagination
There you can be everything you want to be
Then that bad side can finally erased
This is the time to erase
So, why not erase everything that makes you human?
After all, you’re not human anymore
You’re nothing but a piece of your own mind
Merely just pawn in your own mind games
Play your games right,
One bad move and you’ll come crashing back to reality
Try not to think too hard either
With enlightenment comes realization
And then you could realize the mess you are
Your imagination can’t help you then
Your head tells you you’re not worthy of its help
Your heart is too busy keeping the mess alive
Your reality makes sure that you go back to your head
What do you do then? Absolutely nothing.
There’s nowhere to go, nowhere to hide
When you escape your own head
