i....

i glance up and She’s still there
In the dark basement under the stairs
i pounce and make it for the door
She yanks me by my legs
And i dig my nails into the floorboard.
SCREAMING. PLEADING.
i turn and kick Her in her foul mouth
Where She’s been spitting out lies
i hide in the corner as She
  reassembles Herself
  She glares at me always
SWEARING. BLEEDING.
She pins me down, tries to suffocate me
i beg and beg and beg
But She has never had any pity
She picks me up and throws me
  across the room.
FIGHTING. DYING.
  As i lay there numb
She walks towards me so gracefully.
I haven’t been here at all
  She speaks
It's been you contributing to your fall.
  And She’s gone.
