Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
Beauty in society's definition is physical attraction
A person's looks gives us satisfaction
We desire perfection and feel sad if it's not achieved
Other people's perceptions influence is to define beauty
Young teenagers developing a low self-esteem
If you don't look a certain way you are considered ugly
Girls going through make-up, plastic surgery and diets to feel pretty or thin
Yearning for a person's approval or acceptance
Social media accounts created so that others can judge with the amount of likes or followers
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder we say
It's all about perspective
Embracing all your flaws and imperfections,
Learning how to love your-self
Is just one step closer to seeing the beauty within ourselves

I wanted people to get the message that self-esteem is an issue and society's ideology of "beauty" is specific and catored towards the American culture. Beauty comes in different sizes and cultures and should be embraced instead of highlighting feautures. Everyone has imperfections and if people can change their perspective of beauty they can start embracing who they are.
