Crime hate cruelty
When will it stop?
When will the world just hold hands and
Simply just love?
Why must there be rich or poor?
And down to Earth and egotistical?
When will the world realize
We are all human?
We are all the same
You may wear a suit
You may wear rags
But that doesn't change you on the inside
It wont change your bones, skin, or anything
One day we will all end up in the ground six feet under
So why live a life of hate and crime?
When you can love and show peace
Because when you're gone
All you are is a story
And all you can do is decide
How do you want your story to be told
When you can’t tell it?

This piece is something I wrote when I realized that money, fame, and materialistic items should not define who you are. I hope this piece helps people decide what type of person they would like to be and what type of person they want to be remembered as.
