Fire eyes

“Fire”
I saw the fury in his eyes
the fire and rage burning away at his heart
as he clenched his fists
His face turning as red as the fire in his soul
the veins ticking away like a bomb just waiting to explode
his adrenaline pumping through his body
as he walks over to me
He throws my body towards the wall
as if I am nothing more than a doll
a toy that he can take his frustration out on
The beads of perspiration on his forehead ready to drop
clenching on to the last bit of hope
before they vanish into the darkness of that night
