Tipping Point
Everything had happened at once, and the fight continues. Final exams, personal issues, relationship problems, all contributing to the growing struggle of keeping composed. I toss and I turn, try anything and everything to ease my mind, eager for rest, chasing tonight’s ever-elusive sleep. I pace back and forth across the carpeted floor, I sit down, head in my hands, close to tears, and simply ponder why things are the way they are, why everything is emerging at together, a symphony of stress, strumming a terrible tune through a worn mind that has nothing left to give.
