The children of the world

For us

It is she that teaches
The life lessons we need to learn
She picks us off our feet
And comforts us when we are sad

She gives us hope and wonder
She helps you through tough times
That is why we thank them

She cooks the food
She washes the clothes
Over all very busy
Yet she still has time to play

We all have to remember
The people who lost
Their pride and joy

It is hard to mend a broken heart
But they are brave and strong
They are our mothers
They will always be with us
