I Am What I Am
I am What I am
I am what I am.
I am a lost mind in love with a red head.
I am worry inside my head.
I am worry that someday my red head might leave me.
I am the worries I’ll be alone again.
I am a lover who loves to hard.
I am what I am.
I am blankets on the floor who wants to feel love.
When my red head touches me, I am happiness.
I am what I am.
I am what I am my mother’s pedestal.
For what?
I am NOT perfect.
I am late nights sitting up with my mom
wondering where my brother’s gone off to this time.
I am unfairness around me.
Why though?
Why should I be on the pedestal?
Doesn’t everyone make mistakes?
I am the one who asks too many questions
who doesn’t seem to understand.
I am self conscious.
I am the one who needs to learn to love herself
like her red head loves her.
I’m the one who’s made it this far.
I am what I am.
