Perfection is a pointless game.
As we grow closer to our goal
we become increasingly critical.
Throwing ourselfs back two steps
each time we scoot an inch forward.
still we try to accompish
the largest impossibility that faces humanity.

I was inspired to write this piece after hearing the New Years resolutions from my family that so greatly echoed those of last year. We try so hard and by next December we will have fallen back into our old habits or developed new charaistics to conquer.
