I am a fear.                                                   .

 

Appeal to the ones with scary thoughts.
May I bring destruction to families and lives?

 

Believe that I am the worst addiction
Unwind with promise of beauty after pain.
Leave it to me to hurt you the most.
I will take more than I will give.
My intentions are extremely clear.
I am Mia,
Aiming for perfection.

I Wrote this poem for a poetry competetion at my school. I had a close friend whom experinced an eatig disorder, so I wrote everything an eating disorder would say if it was a person.
