Death
death
is beautiful, is kind, is soft, is tender, is lonely
death
is the bright lights turning black closing in around my eyes
is the whisper of a mother soothing her newborn baby
is the way a 18 year old boy holds the love of his life
is the way a middle aged woman smells her dying roses she’s had for what seems like forever
death
is the way a 16 year old girl is sitting there all alone fighting her inner demons,
they never take a break
death
is the idea that 16 year old girl has daydreamed about over and over again but can never actually bring herself to follow through
death
is the easy way out
death
is letting them win
death
is showing your weakness
death
is not an option
