Go ahead and doubt me
Doubt my resolve
Belittle me
Find my purpose meaningless
Leave me
Let me fend for myself
Forget me
Don’t remember my feelings
Free me
Save me from your corruption
When you would disparage me
Taller I stood
People would denigrate me
So I worked harder
No one would help me
Helping myself I made it to the top
Resent me
For my Future is bright
Ask forgiveness from me
I have surpassed your expectations
Find disbelief in me
When I ignore your request
Look back at the old me
And realize how strong I was
