Given the birthright of a silent child,
As for I- I was exiled.
As for them- I would smile.
I had seen for a mile.

Introverted in the absence-
Trapped in the sight of her madness-
From the sky to the cadence;
of my sadness.

Given the birthright of a dead man-
Most of the children didn’t give a damn!
His heart ripped into the sun-
Where he wished he had run-
Mountains above the cloud-
Only seeing through the shroud-

For the madness stepped aside-
And her gaze gripped the tide.
