January Nights
Knocks ont the door in the crisp air
I'm sorry's and how is she's scatter the house.
Food and flowers filled the room
but nothing was wrong.
I got handed books with titles of
"It's ok to cry" and "What is Heaven"
I knew what was happening but
I didn't know why everyone was so sad.
As the days grew on I didn't see him
A year went by but i still didn't see him
being so youngi didn't understand why
but now I know my dad is truly gone
