Is the love really there

I love you but I can’t keep going down the same road
You said you love me and our relationship so where did our love for each other go?
You said our love was like a blanket swaddling a baby to keep it warm
All those promises you told me were they true? It went BOOM right out the window so where did the love go?
I want you, I love you, and I want our lives to have nine chances like cats have nine lives
So let’s continue our lives together and forget about the past!
