I just want to be beautiful.
Maybe if I looked like a person the world would love,
you would love me too.
I just want to be brave.
Maybe if I got rid of this fear that shadows the sunshine,
you would stay
and make me smile.
I just want to be honest.
Maybe if I spoke my mind,
you would find out that I miss you
more than I am beautiful
or brave
or honest
enough
to admit.
