Silent Killer

A silent night,

A silent kill.

The world won't remember

Her name or face

Who died because of hate.

Her skin was pale,

her eyes green.

A smile that barely left her face

She was a ray of sunshine to most

A beam of darkness and hate to others.

Most saw her as pitiful

Others as a friend.

The hatred though,

Had been her despair.

It had been slowly gnawing away at her

Killing her from the inside.

Her pain had become unbearable

And her life was ended with pills.

A painless death

But sorrow filled.

I took her life

Without a care

I am known to many

But not seen by most

I am the silent killer.

You tend to feel my kindness when the pain is too much/

My kills vary in range

Sorrow and heartbreak ask my presence

I am the despair of people everywhere

My name is best unspoken

For it strikes fear into the bravest of men.

My name is Suicide

And I am not forgiven.

The author's comments:

I was going through a tough point in my life, I didn't see any way to end it but with ending myself. Writing this gave me closure to not let it over take me. I want people to understand that no matter how nice you are to some one the rude comments are the ones that stick with us. I want the world to see that the things they say do hurt.
