High School
Love is thought of daily, it
goes around to few in school days.
Toward each other, lovers smile and watch.
Love fills thoughts, desires, the mind.
As high schoolers, love is the goal.
Schoolboys gallop in the girls and elegant souls run
from themselves.
Their priorities turn to trash.
“Books are for the straight and narrow!”
“But we want to see more and explore!”
Love is all we want filling the memories.
From what girls see in the movies
love is the solution, what you want at the finish line.
Toward the end, here it comes.
School is over and so is the fun.
With love they had it all.
Heavy hearts now as they fall.
Looks like they should have chosen books after all.
