Black Friday in a Metaphoric World
I tossed my money into the bonfire,
watching it burn, in a stupendous flame.
  I smile,
Ignoring the remnants of regret and rationality, and laugh,
Both burned and warmed by the fire,
  Pain accompanying genuine satisfaction.
  It is beautiful.
